Juana Publishing
Dama Juana Publishing's vision
is to strengthen values and awareness of social issues
by publishing books and periodicals that powerfully
espouse both. Its long-term mission is to help new,
aspiring artists have their works published.
The company's maiden project
is 52-page, 8.5 x 11 fully-illustrated children's
book (ages 7-12) entitled, "Fly, Malaya, Fly!" written
by two Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards Grand Prize
winners. It is a story of stewardship and freedom,
using the Philippine Eagle (the Philippines' national
bird) as a symbol of God's creation relentlessly abused
by man. The book aims to help create awareness on
ecological preservation, at the same time dramatizing
core family values. It is available in most bookstores.
